Laura is a long-time resident of HOTT. Laura’s experience with HOTT was the first time that she had lived independently due to limitations caused by several serious life-long physical illnesses. Laura uses her skills to help her neighbours and is known for lending a hand by the residents of her building, particularly to elders and others with physical health challenges.
 
Both our staff and Laura’s neighbours greatly appreciate the compassion and connection that Laura brings to her community.
 
Laura now serves on HOTT’s Housing Development and Proposals Committee as well as donates to the organization and participates in fundraising activities and events.
