Partners and Supporters
Art Gallery of Ontario
As part of the AGO Community Access Program, any member of the HOTT community is able to enjoy an enriching day at the AGO free of charge. HOTT has received lots of positive feedback from happy tenants who have visited. Thank you for this wonderful program!
HOTT has partnered with the Furniture Bank in order to provide tenants with necessary household items, particularly large pieces of furniture. Tenants coming from homelessness, shelters, or who cannot afford to purchase furniture are frequently in need of these items and greatly benefit from this partnership. Thank you, Furniture Bank!
Monarch Park Collegiate Institute
Monarch Park’s culinary program volunteers for HOTT’s Holiday Party every year. They support us by cooking and serving our tenants during this festive season. This event is well attended by our tenants and brings our HOTT community together each year. Thank you, Monarch Park!
Investing in Neighbourhoods
Investing in Neighbourhoods is an initiative whereby non-profit organizations are enabled to create employment opportunities people Ontario Works participants in Toronto. Having successfully obtained funding, HOTT is now creating job openings for individuals who are eager and ready to jump back into the work force. Thank you, City of Toronto!
We receive support from this company in the form of volunteers. These volunteers organize and complete landscaping and building renovations. This support is extremely valuable to HOTT as a community member and non-profit organization. Thank you, Petrela Winter!
Fresh from the Farm
We receive support from this organization every year at our annual Holiday Party. Fresh from the Farm has provided HOTT with discounted turkeys for this event for many years now. We appreciate the generosity and positive attitude of this organization, particularly during holidays! Thank you, Fresh from the Farm!
We receive support from this organization in the form of food baskets. These food baskets have been distributed to our particularly vulnerable residents in times of greater need. We and our residents are grateful for all the work this organization does. Thank you, Building Roots!
Community Food Centres Canada
We’re grateful to the Government of Canada and Community Food Centres Canada for providing essential funding to help us offer emergency food relief in our community.
In addition to our formal partners, we work closely with local shelters and social services to connect us with prospective tenants. We also work closely with other agencies and organizations that we are able to refer our tenants to for services that land outside of HOTT’s mandate. We are always searching for more connections within our community to help us build lasting relationships.
